Expect mergers to ensure clipping the capital invested provides enough to pay staff incomes, else the staff incomes will go down... also the automation of the processing will reduce back end staff, while those able to attract investors remain required...
The LICs will hurt for a while, do expect most to surive, a few may find acceptable mergers, credit to our Reserve Bank and others work hard to avoid total chaos.
This is not yet a total economic and financial collapse , where businesses rapidly become insolvent:
