One would think the directors and shareholders of a number of the smaller LICs will be closely watching how yesterday's proposal to restructure MA1 into a ETMF goes. This appears to be a not that costly mechanism for bringing the market price close to NAV. If successful, I could see pressure being brought to bare on a number of the smaller LICS currently trading at a substantial discount to NAV to follow suit.
