    UMC doesn't appear to be on ANZ's list of stocks that they seized from Opes. They have been updating the market daily on the stocks subject to their selldown since 8/04/08 and none of those documents list UMC. If UMC was ever among the Opes securities it would already have been sold prior to 8 April.

    Would have to conclude that the 1m/350k seller is not ANZ? Merryl Lynch is not in the top 20 so they don't even have 1m to sell. If that 1m seller genuinely wants out then we are all in for a lot of pain.
