Don't bother phoning the directors for an explanation. They have done so by updating the top20.

Forget about contacting the ASX as my reply from one of their "Surveillance" staff this morning was that they could not see any reason to take any action, but will continue to monitor UMC.

The fact that ML has dropped off the top20 does not necessarily mean they have completely sold out. Also, I'm actually confident that the 1m seller (changed to 350k) at $1.10 is genuine. I also think that this seller is ANZ and they initially stuck-in the 1m sell to send out aclear message to the buyers that they don't intend to sell under $1.10.
