I certainly am not entering a debate with anyone on Bollinger bands, I haven't the time to waste on debates. I also use Bollinger bands where it is appropriate to use them. I was merely trying to make the point that they are a lagging and not a predictive indicator which is suitable particularly during increasing volatility. If you find them useful in your style of trading and you are successful in your results, I salute you and good luck. I prefer other indicators. To each to his/ her own.
