You don't have to be wrong to mislead. Selectively quoting information can be at least as misleading if not more so. This is particularly so when you do not give the company a chance to respond (despite saying you always do). An action based on the tort of injurious falsehood may well be available although for my part I have no interest. No point suing a man of straw as I have no doubt this company would be.
