Is it time to dump qan international?
Well not sure about dump, but definitely either look at selling it off or merging with a partner. Although who would buy or merge with a business losing so many $. It is a very tall ask to turn it around and I'm not sure if Simon Hickey can do it. At the end of the day government have not supported Qantas very well as a national carrier when compared to other countries airlines who fly into oz. This makes it extremely difficult to compete with these guys, hence the current loss by qan int. I think a merge or joint partner with their international arm would be the best solution going forward.
