Yes cmonaussie, it appears Schlumberger, the world's largest oilfield services company, is prepared to put it's reputation on the line and it's money where it's mouth is.
Of course not all wells will be a candidate for re-frac, as clearly indicated by the company.
I also notice "the copy & paste Wizard" asking, where the $500k figure to re-frack a well came from.
Well, if one is prepared to research, one will discover, it costs about $2 million to re-frack. Samsons Bakken wells Gene & Earl, at 25% interest = $500k each.
I also read a report, some ("some") Bakken wells could produce up to ("up to"), 60-80% of the initial ip, after a re- frac..........
