Alecfa/Teddie, how are they going to release a FID if the V price is at $5USD/lb?
Even the average HC punter can see that doesn't stack up. Even if they had everything ready they wouldn't be able to release it at the moment.
Some people here have NFI and seem to think they are mining engineers/stockbrokers/analysts etc.
End of the day 90% of us are average Joe's with at-best semi-related day jobs.
AVL's corporate spend is in line with other ASX companies, of comparable size (i.e. Pilbara Minerals) 12-24 months prior to FID. All these salty ex-AVL holders who've done a comparison have compared to small gold ops.
Just sell if you think they're overspending and you're getting emotional about it.
The rest of us will leave them to do their work as per ASX preso yesterday (i.e. working to sell batteries in 4 states, working with ARENA/NAIF regarding funding, unlocking the 24.5m left in the modern manufacturing grant etc.).
