i cannot agree with your assumption.
if you look @ boomberg,symbol brk/a, berkshire hathaway aka warren buffet,volume 70 shares.
similarly csco,cisco,vol 53,528,061 shares @ 21.53 equals 1 billion us approximateley.
multiply that by 1000 times as you suggest has been the case with hardman over there,and cisco has a daily $ volume of over 1000 billion dollars.
is that figure sound about right to you for a daily turnover in 1 american tech stock?
i am sure you will find hdr trade 30,500 shares on friday.
