I'll simplify it for you, Parsifal. Circa 50% of men are little better than monkey's; angry and or stupid monkeys left behind in the evolutionary race. I have come to that conclusion as a man living in the worlds of men and have seen things men do of a repugnant nature. So, this DV problem is a numbers game - a 50% chance for women to choose poorly (by no fault of her own), and a 50% chance for women to score a prince charming. If I was a woman, I'd call those odds... problematic.
