Love and loyalty can go a long way to have a really happy marriage.
I have been married twice, the first time I was very young.
Thinking back on it, I married for security, not love.
We were relatively happy, but he was a workaholic.
It wasn’t a romantic marriage, we had two children who we loved, but he neglected me.
I feel that I was a sitting duck, when another man paid me attention.
We have now been together for a very long time and are still very much in love.
But the guilt has never left me.
There is no easy answer to the question really.
Perhaps more time should be spent on checking out each partners wants and desires, but they do change.
But when you both find real love, I think you know.
