but then the Libs come along and rant about "back to Basics" 3Rs bs.

during the last Lab govt Gillard established ethics as a life-lesson class. initial feedback showed the kids and teachers both loved it and wanted it continued, but Abbott abolished the plan. he wanted religious instruction, not lessons, but instruction. this resulted in a return to patriarchal nonsense, demoting girls to be subject to the male whims and superiority.

this is yet another reason why I rant on about voting independent. get rid of party politics and we'll get better ethical education imo.
