There used to e an old joke: "The quickest way to halve your bottom line is to invest in China." Fosters, ANZ, and numerous others, have found that out to their cost. They get star-struck by the numbers. Fosters used to reckon that they needed only 1.0% of the Chinese beer market, to double their Aust. market production and make millions. All eminently possible mathematically, but much more difficult to achieve. For both Fosters and ANZ the answer was: Indeed! And so too, and by the same device, verily might pigs fly.

You say that JAT shares may be worth a lot of money in a few years time. Granted. However they could also be worth nothing. That is the nature of all speculative shares. It is human nature....The lure of riches untold. I prefer to eat humbly regularly, than banquet once in every ten.
