This latest rock lobster increase in biosecurity check by China was actually called for by Australia by this statement back in April.

"The Australian government is calling for the G20 countries to take action on wildlife wet markets, calling them a "biosecurity and human health risk".

What producer country and company Chinese import agents choose to do deals with is up to them.

If they determine that their end Chinese consumers have a preference for product from a particular country/company or not, that will effect who they import from.
