A few things arrived today that were manufactured in China. Even with the Australian importers margin and possibly an Australian retailers margin I could not believe the quality of this manufactured product at this price. I don't think I am alone with this experience.
Yes we send over to China raw materials and they come back as quality cheap products. We sell a lot more in $'s to China in raw materials than they sent back in $'s as manufactured products. The government gains taxes from Australian company's who export to China.
IMO all of us in Australia benefit from this relationship allowing even some with smaller incomes to buy products that would not be affordable if it was not for this China trading relationship.
But hey I might be wrong.
