Let there be light -> do we deem that as created?
Prophesy there -> Jesus become the light 'of' the Father of Lights.
There is a greater light and there is a lessor light.

Lets US let the Bible, not us do the talking.
The Bible in the OT shows NO hint whatsoever in the numerous prophesies for a Jesus to be, that he already existed in some ways shape or form, and would come down and take upon flesh, not a single one.
All we know regarding the pre-existing aspect, is the God and Fathers plan and purpose, which is ALL that John 1:1,2 is showing and confirmed by John again in his Book 1 John, that plan and purpose, eternal life was (ongoing, in progress) = TOWARD (unto) the Father ALONE.
Titus 1:2 - in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised (to himself) before time began,

John 1:1 is NOT Gen's beginning, there is NO "the"
John 1:3 All things........Did you know that the word "things" does Not exist and likewise in Col 1:16, I've not checked the rest yet.
Hence the "all" is US, peoples, with that in mind, have a Good look at Col 1:16.

That (prophesies) whether we like it or not, MUST set the stage as to how we Need to interpret any verses in the NT, that on first appearance, suggest he come down.
Frist appearances, are what we Need to be Very careful of, often a Deeper look is required.

We see no words from Jesus, pre the cross that I go BACK to the Father.

Before Abraham I am = the following, Because that's what the BIBLE shows us;
Gen 3:15 - And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.”
Isa 55:10, 11 - For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Psa 2:7 - I will (not yet, no son) declare the decree: Yehowah has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.
Acts 13:33 - God has fulfilled this for us their children (Likes of Moses), in that He has raised up Jesus (Deu 18:18). As it is also written in the second Psalm: ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.’ (as per from Mary and this is my Son))
Heb 1:5,6 - For to which of the angels did He ever say: “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You”? And again: “I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son”?
But when He again (2nd coming) brings the firstborn into the world, He says: “Let all the angels of God worship Him.”

"Again" -> after his resurrection -> I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son”?

Isa 55:10, 11 - The word comes forth from Yehowah to the Angel who express's the Fathers words forth to Mary, like let there be Light, let there be a Jesus and he was good and grew in FAVOR with God Luke 2:52.
John 16:27, 28 - for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth (mouth) from God.
I came forth (mouth) from the Father and have come into the world. Furthermore, I leave the world and go to the Father.

"come into the world." = Gal 4:4 - But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
John 17:18 - As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
Sent after his Baptism.
17:16 - They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
They likes Jesus, are deemed as of above, of God, of heaven and they like Jesus, didn't come floating down from heaven.
John 17:24 - Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory (word) which You have given Me; for You loved Me before (Gen 3:15) the foundation of the world. (loved = figuratively speaking as God sees things not yet done as though they are - Rom 4:17)

2 Tim 2:15 - Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

John 17:17 - Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
