Strange question to ask a christian zbusc

    Every christian would answer yes

    But do they understand it?

And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
    Luke 18:7-8 KJV

    Isiah 10
21 The remnant shall return, even the REMNANTof Jacob, unto the mighty God.

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the REMNANTof her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
    Rev 12.17

They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service
    John 16.2

You only have to look at these threads to see what christians think of the son of God

Yet its the reason Gods son was put on the cross,i didnt even get one reply to my post about Jesus being killed for claiming to be the son of God

Jesus when selecting his disiples ,everyone of them said he was the son of God,and became his disciples

The Roman soldier at the cross, said truely this was the son of God

satan when temping Jesus in the wilderness, tried to make him deny or disbelieve his sonship

If thou be the son of God cast thyself down

If thou be the son of God make these stones bread

Every man and his dog has argued on this thread that this isnt salvational, and dont worry about bringing the point up

    By uniting humanity with divinity

He was the son of God identifying with God as a divine being

The son of man identifying with fallen humanity

He became the 2nd Adam by faith in his father.

Whats it matter what we think of the son of God?

    Hebrew 11
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

    Hebrew 12
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of (our)this is a supplied word) faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Gods son was the first being and the author of faith

This faith that he has he imparts to his followers

If as wotsup teaches, that he became the son of God at the incarnation

He isnt the author of faith, thats a lie
Because in eternity Lucifer as the hughest of the created beings would have been the author of faith, which is a very telling point.

God is the source of all things

His son is the mediator and channel through which God blesses us.

As the father has life in himself so has HE GIVEN TO THE SON TO HAVE LIFE IN HIMSELF
    John 5.26

As Gods son he inherited eternal life from his father
This life is able to be had by inheritence to his believers

A trinitarian God,ie God the son posseses lofe in himself and has faith in no one, because he has life unborrowed underived in and of himself, this is a different Son than the son in the bible.

Thats why Jesus said No man might come to God,but by me.

So wotsups version cannot be true not only for this point, but also by the point that it deletes Gods son as the channel in which God created all things through.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

    John 1:1-5 KJV
    Colossians 1:16-20
    King James Version
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell

All these things were given to the son
