What are we going to do with you, brother? You are obsessed!
I just want to make sure you don’t have autism or a bit of OCD. If you do, I genuinely would like to know, as there’s no point in conversing. Your state of mind seems closed off and, in my opinion, doesn’t consider other perspectives. So please save us both the anguish. If you have been diagnosed with something like this, it would help me understand your fixation on this subject, especially since it appears that you’re pretty much all alone in this ideology.
You need to stop twisting Scripture to fit your narrative. You’re missing the essential truth of Yeshua as the Second Adam and how His incarnation fulfills the necessity of being born of flesh.
- Born Again: Your assertion that Yeshua was not "born again" at His baptism is misleading. He fully identified with humanity and the need for rebirth. As the Second Adam, He had to fulfill all that we experience, including the need to be born of water (John 3:5). You cannot separate His physical humanity from His spiritual role.
- Identity as the Messiah: You claim His baptism was merely a declaration of His ministry, but it was also a crucial moment for spiritual transformation. The descent of the Spirit upon Him signifies His empowerment and the beginning of His public ministry, aligning perfectly with the concept of regeneration.
- Distinction of Adams: You argue that if Yeshua was merely "Mary's egg," He would inherit a sinful nature. But this misses the point. He is both fully human and fully divine, uniquely conceived by the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to be the unblemished sacrifice while still fulfilling the role of the Second Adam. He is the new beginning for humanity.
- Old Testament Prophecy: You demand a verse stating a "pre-existing one" would come down in flesh, yet you ignore that the Messiah's coming was foretold in multiple ways throughout the OT (e.g., Isaiah 7:14, Micah 5:2). Just because the term "pre-existing" isn't explicitly used doesn't mean the concept isn’t there.
- Rejection of Jesus: You keep insisting there’s "no Jesus in the OT," but that’s a gross oversimplification. The entire sacrificial system points to Him as the ultimate fulfillment. Your rigid stance ignores the richness of prophetic foreshadowing that aligns with His life and mission.
- Translation Issues: Regarding "pros" and its translations, you need to recognize that the nuances of language don’t negate the overall message. John 1:1’s context clearly demonstrates that the Word is both distinct from and fully God. Trying to dismiss this with flimsy arguments shows a lack of engagement with the text's true depth.
It’s time to stop undermining the Scriptures with unfounded claims and embrace the truth of Yeshua’s dual nature. Your arguments ignore the holistic narrative of Scripture and the clear evidence of Yeshua’s identity as the Messiah.
