I have not being watching the minute by minute updates but I kinda almost like the guy. And I detest just about all directors. The baggage handlers are paid cherries on top of their Gucci cakes. They are holding QAN to ransom for even more cookies & cream.
Joyce says stuff this, right after close on friday IIRC, he grounds every Qantas plane to take it up to the Commies. Panic is at a high, even the visiting heads of state from the CHOGM meet are stuffed, as is the Queen. LOL!
Amidst the process, shareholders have lost none of their value as planes will be back in the air today. It just opened at the same price it closed on friday. He played his cards very well. Raising the stakes with an average hand, bluffing the government out with the raise.
QAN holders, stop whinging. This could be one of the better things to happen for your company. Qantas is way overpriced due to the exorbitant amounts they spend on their labour force.
