Yes that is true. We also know that there is a competition to see which type of DLE works best. If sorbtion is shown to be superior to ion exchange then little will be lost if LKE opt for the better technology. Hopefully ion exchange will prove to be superior and LKE and Lilac can move ahead once the lithium price recovers. Currently the capex for ion exchange seems high, hopefully with further development the capex can be reduced but $800 million for a similar size plant does seem better than $1376 million.
