I noticed the orders before the market opened today dry up. Initially i thought i'd missed an announcement, now i think the trading programs, brokers and everyone in-between is turning off for the year.
My office of 140 people is down to half that, and eerily quiet. I mention this because what staff is left in the financial institution i work in are only here in body. Their minds are already on holidays!
Mums and dads, us on HC, and those not, currently have the floor.
