@globalstockguru, it’s a very interesting point. I actually read somewhere that Tesla wasn’t building charging stations purse, but building stations to change the battery pack in/out. They estimate a battery pack can be changed in less than a few minutes and a full charge immediately delivered.

As for the grid, which does need to be upgraded, yes; I was also reading that regulators, home battery packs and an EV are perfect bedfellows. It’s why I believe Tesla went into Solar (previous post below).

There’s a lot of money to be made in EV’s, with the added benefit of environmental improvement (if done right), it’s why I’m sure a solution is just around the corner, if not already resolved.
