Lachlan Murdoch thought to be seeking new opportunities - report
Lachlan Murdoch is believed to be looking at new opportunities after his attempted purchase of Consolidated Media Holdings collapsed, The Australian reported. According to the report, unnamed sources from Illyria, Murdoch's private company, have indicated that Murdoch is already looking for the next opportunity.
The report said the media industry believes Murdoch could target the "usual suspects" such as Ten Network, West Australian Newspapers, APN News & Media, and Austar. However, the report cited an unnamed source who noted
that there were opportunities with unlisted companies as well.
