Some of the Pacific Hwy is still almost a country track.
They are doing a lot and by 2100 it should be complete, lol.
But you make a good point.
I have driven home from a gig from Lightening Ridge to Gulargambone (don't ask) at 3 or 4 in the morning and expected to have roos and pigs etc. on the road so we kept to 50 kms as painfull and lengthy as that was, but on the Pacific Hwy, the idea of reducing speed to 50 kms to avoid cows straying at night is absurd.
