From a PIF holder perspective do you quietly into the night or should you fight.
If you look at cashflow report plus last financials for LLA this appears to have some strong fundamentals.
NAB are supposedly waiving a big stick but if PIF took up at least half Artic position and LLA completed smaller rights issue LLA would bring itself back inside banking covenants.
PIF through converting its position to equity could in one move claw back the losses it has probably suffered in other asset sales.
Trading price doest reflect the 150 million net asset position of LLA which includes PIF debt. LLA appears to be a cashflow positive business so therefore PIF would get income.
PIF unitholders would need to threaten to remove RE unless the RE itself moved to block Artic deal and become the vulture fund itself.
