You can attach peer reviewed 'studies' until you're blue in the face. 'Peer reviewed' indicates nothing more than an echo chamber for cowards. Continuing to believe and parrot this tripe shows a rigidity in thinking, an inability to admit you are wrong, and a desperation for it to be correct - kind of like religion.
