3 mill. Is not that much when you worked hard as a professional for 45 years in the industrie partly in other countries, max. your saving and invested in the market.
By doing that we support Aussie companies like Ltr, aussie jobs and
future company tax and royalties.
PUT 3 mill on the bank and get max. 120000 $ interest.
On the other hand you have ministers, judges, councillors and other high paying goverment employees who will receive 200000 to 800000 $ in pensions tax free for live. Judges have no risk in their jobs, secure for ever and convienient. Who has accurate data for this. Nobody mentioned these people.
For sure I will not leave any excess of money in my SMSF fund. So government calculation will not work. The Chinese will buy my shares. That is what will happen. Government is happy to drive chinese EV, because they will be cheaper.
