"Not sure why M&G wouldn't just pick up the phone and ask Oceanwide if they like more shares at a 25% discount. But what do I know....."
Im with you Bermuda ! there is no way they can dump 19m shares on market at an average price above $2.60.
We have not seen a sub holder notice yet so its unlikely they have sold more than 2m shares ? If they want out at a profit then surely they will have to sell the majority off market.
On the other hand if they are selling a few in order to lower the price for another buying onslaught towards 19.9% ( possibly subject to FIRB ) then that would make more sense.
When Dundee sold out between $6 and $6.50 their purcase cost was $3.20 - they sold on market in advance expectation of a mega JORC- CDU is in a differnt landscape now. There is not enough buying interest to unload that quantity of stock on market ? ( well not a profit anyway )
