In more normal market conditions you will initially do well (but in the current storm, anyone's guess).

However, Kiernan is just a part of that grand tradition of snake oil salesman (modern day spin masters would call such a part of the rich tapestry of human nature). Simply a continuation of blowhards such as Bond, Williams, Adler....the list is endless really.

Shonky dealings will be done from the get go but that's his skill so you'll at least have a year or two of success before the complex dealings, false reports, greed and mismanagement hit the front pages. Just don't stay in long term - once you've made a good pile, grab your profits and run.
