"How about restructing the whole tax system as recommended in the Henry tax review. This tinkering on the edges does nothing to solve the long term structural problems of taxation receipts exceeding government spending."
Exactly. If they were sincere, and genuinely wiling to do the hard yards, they'd put the Henry recommendations into action. As it happens, they're justifying the progressive side's concerns that they're just interested in looking after the big end of town. This is the fundamental thing the right's cheerleaders here don't get, and don't seem to get.
