Is MT/JV dead in the water or will this initiative save the day?, page-5

I have been over on Horizon and there is some real interesting reading and reference points to research provided by those posters.

Horizon has an underground mine (Cannon) being de-watered with development planned to start soon and gold proceesing to start in the 7th moth of development and continuing for a further 9 months. Horizon have an agreement with FMR (our significant shareholder)
to process 200,000t of ore this year, the trouble is I don't see processing starting until November or not this year at all.

So maybe the merger plan is to use the 200,000t FMR processing facility with Burbanks North ore as it has a permit to mine.

One has to wonder if a merger is necessary if this is the untold plan.
