is multiculturism working in europe?

I keep seeing similar stories to the one in the link below. Initially I thought is was mostly propaganda videos put together by some very mob who just didn't like the idea of multiculturalism.

Now it has become so common to see and hear stories like this coming out of Norway, Sweden, France, Spain just to name a few, that I can no longer stick my head in the sand.

To be fair, I've probably put the wrong heading on this thread as I don't actually see a problem with multiculturalism. Australia has grown over the last couple of centuries with many different races putting their nose to the grindstone in an effort to make this a better country.
The Italians, Greeks, Slavs, Vietnamese, Chinese to name a few have all added in a positive way to the melting pot that is Australian society. (my opinion only).
Can Australia look forward to scenes in Australia like we see in this report?
