Buffet wouldn’t touch Mayne with a 10 foot barge pole!
Buffet invests in companies with a long track record of
making profits and growing it’s wealth. You don’t have
to be Einstein to see that Mayne allows SR to load his
pockets full of cash straight from the till because no-one
has the balls to stop him and thus rewards his incompetence.
If Buffet bought into a company like Mayne because he
saw value, then SR would be immediately disposed of
as would the rest of the dead wood. At least he wouldn’t
have to get rid of the CFO because they still don’t have
one as far as I’m aware! It’s been a long global hunt for
a CFO....The value destruction has been astounding with
absolutely no consequences whatsoever! Totally glad I got
out and it’s of little wonder that they can’t get any institutional
investors on board when you have SR behaving like an
echidna in the trenches. The market has lost faith in this
company and for one director to be buying in is or should
be a total embarrassment. They probably all sat around
on a zoom conference call with LP lashing out and holding
the straws for her hard earned while they all took it in turns
to see who drew the shortest straw and had to buy in. LP
would have been devastated having to waste precious time
when she could have been practising for her next big IR’s
announcement some time next year.
