Have you actually looked at the ASX shorts list? The shorting is minimal and has halved over the week. Suggest you read up on algos too. They aren't paying retail brokerage!!!
From a small sample last week they seemed to be hitting the offer more frequently than the bid, which would be consistent with helping Lazard exit, but purely a guess and not a proper review or sample size.
