Actually, the LNP are being very smart in NOT talking about uranium mining - they don't want it to become an election issue that would give the ALP a moral "high ground" for scare tactics etc.
I think if they continue to be smart, not even get the matter into public discussion before the election, then do what Colin Barnet did in WA - declare the state to be "open for business" a little while later, that would be the best approach by far.
And on that note, I'll do precisely that - I'll shut up about it, and I'd suggest others do likewise. Keep it under the radar.
