I wish to ask a legitimate question to all who have already conducted a their own thorough research of this company.

I do not have any want or need to call the company for their own version of an explanation, due to reasons which I am unable to post without the risk of falling under the defamation act.

The company, on occassion has made some errors in their past announcements. We are all human and to a degree this may be deemed acceptable.
    __________

    * Feb 22 - "Provided all condition precedents are satisfied, completion of the transaction is not anticipated to occur until 30 October 2011."

    * Feb 22 (same ann) - "Annexure A - Indicative Timetable Pursuant to Listing Rule 11.1.3 and Guidance Note 12,Completion proposed transactions 30 September 2011

    30th September or 30th October?
    __________

    * March 24 - "Company confirms payment of first US6 million tranche via formal loan agreement with Ji'an Resources to secure transaction rights."

As TheBanker first pointed out, Fortis did not have enough funds to cover this amount, so how was this transaction fully financed?
    __________

    * Feb 22 - "The benefit of the Ji'an Resources acquisition to the Company and shareholders arises from a contract under which Ji'an Resources has the right purchase 100% of the shares in Wiyot SA, a Panamanian company. Wiyot SA owns 95% of the shares in Bates Potash Co., Limited who, in turn, holds 100% of the proprietary and legal rights to two Kazakhstan Potash assets".

    * March 24 - "In summary, the Company is acquiring the Chelkar and Zhilyanskoe Salt Deposits indirectly by buying a 75% holding in Ji'an Resources, which will own 100% of Wiyot SA, the owner of 100% of Aktobe TUZ (When did this coy suddenly appear?), which owns 95% of Batys Kaliy LLC (And another new coy appears), the direct owners of the mines. The transaction results into a 71.25% ownership of Batys Kaliy LLC."

Bates Potash Co becomes Baty Kaliy LLC ~ A simple spelling error maybe?
    __________

    * March 24 - "Ercosplan will review both deposits and submit an opinion to the board as to the quality of the mineralisation and any issues that would affect the future mining and processing of the ore. This opinion is required by the board ahead of a non refundable progress payment due 18th April 2001. Further reports may be required following the receipt of this opinion"

    * March 29 - "The Company confirms that the second tranche payment of US24 million payable on 18 April 2011 is a refundable payment if the Company is not satisfied at the end of the technical and legal due diligence process and the transaction therefore does not proceed."

Refundable or Non refundable ~ Simple error?
We'll let the "2001" error from first ann slide for the purpose of this post
    __________

    * April 29 - "In summary, the Company will acquire a 95% shareholding in Kazakhstan Company Bayts Kaliy LLC (Batys) for a total purchase price of $US260M. The acquisition will be completed in two transactions:

    * March 24 - "In summary, the Company is acquiring the Chelkar and Zhilyanskoe Salt Deposits indirectly by buying a 75% holding in Ji'an Resources, which will own 100% of Wiyot SA, the owner of 100% of Aktobe TUZ, which owns 95% of Batys Kaliy LLC, the direct owners of the mines.
The transaction results into a 71.25% ownership of Batys Kaliy LLC.

    71.25% or 95.00% ~ A simple percentage error maybe?
    __________

    Madam Cheung?
    Cheung Kwan?
    Madam Cheung Kwai?

This imo remains the most important question for all legitimate posters/holders on here, because if the company has made the most simple error of all ~ by the misplacement of only one letter you might have good reason for concern.

A person by the name of Madam Cheung Kwai has been involved in numerous publicly listed and bvi listed companies in various fields of industry and is noted a number of times on a leading Hong Kong corporate watchdog site, webb-site.com. Companies with connection to and ownership by Madam Cheung Kwai have been involved in numerous potentially questionable transactions and related share price spikes followed by cancelled deals.

So I sincerely wish to ask for your own opinions, based on your research. Is this simply spooky information or just shear coincidence relating to a similar name?

Click here, here and here for only examples of information relating to this very mysterious "Madam Cheung"
