As we are not in a trading halt I can only assume that no formal bids have been put forward.

Taking Elders as an example. They went into a trading halt last week as a bid for their rural business had been submitted. Over the weekend they reviewed the bid and deemed it unacceptable.
I will highlight that .... It went into a halt when the bid was received....
The same thing happened with BBG and every other takeover that I can think of...

As i have said before I suspect they are drumming up interest for a raising.
But then again. The Chinese have not been Squealing to the media so they somehow must still be involved in the discussions.
