I emailed Allan Farrar the day after the Michael Addison announcement asking why, a short three months after signing a new open-ended employment contract, he was no longer "a key executive well placed to lead the company through its next stage of development," and why they were no longer "pleased to secure his services." Furthermore, did they still "expect an exciting future as the company continues to execute its strategies?" as opposed to executing the CEO.
Not surprisingly, only being a shareholder, I wasn't given the courtesy of a reply. Imagine my surprise today when I opened my email to see a (rather curt) message from Farrar promising a detailed market update in the next ten days which will advise of "the path forward and other associated matters".... I wait with baited breath. At least Hunter Hall don't appear to have been selling down. Where are Nightingales when you need them? Eighteen cents sure looks good now. Don't you just love the benefit of hindsight?
