That’s a pretty simple minded assessment.
They would undoubtedly have explored the trade sale option and weighed it up against the float option.My guess is that the trade sale offers came in ok but with such euphoria around tech stocks at the time they knew that a float would fly at a premium price.
At half the IPO price the sp has dropped to a point where there will be suitors running their eye over it. That’s why for the time being (despite being tempted to sell out completely through sheer exasperation) I’m a hold on this stock.
