Try a strategic approach to your investing.

I use a diversified approach. I invest. I don't trade. I invest in an asset, people (management) and a strategy. I also invest with long time-horizons. That's why I do speculative analysis that goes out 3 years, 5 years and often 10 years. I think about things based on a future cashflow, asset value or future return basis that can be used as way of valuing the stock.

Management take time to execute a strategy. Patience is required. That time waiting is also valuable thinking time you can use for your understanding of the company and its fundamentals.

I determine position size based on my own assessment of probability of success, downside risk, my own appetite for risk and my own investment timeframes.

I don't actively trade in order to avoid an excessive CGT bill.
