The "618" sales campaign at TMall, ongoing for a month now has come to an end. During this month period, 47,000+ Olay Magnetic Infusers were sold through Olay's tmall flagship store. This was across the Magnemasks line as well as bundled with other products including Olay's 2 best selling products in China.
I think this number is pretty respectable and holds up well when compared to sales of other Olay products. I will have more details on this in a later post. What matters most is what P&G thinks of these numbers. The product has been in the market long enough for them to know whether the concept is working for the customer. What is clear from observation is that Magnemasks is still receiving strong promotion and is slowly expanding across Asia. If we see continued releases in new countries, it will help prove P&Gs commitment to the tech and, I believe, to future integrated products.
