When you look at todays volume (around 10,000,000) you can easily see why the SP is doing what it is doing.
Day Traders - Short Term profit takers. When teh serious money was made in early Oct around 60,000,000 shares traded hands. Majority of these buyers obvoiusly still hold.
Good luck to them, but for all the long-term holders like myself this is not a major concern. Sure it would be nice if our portfolios looked a little 'greener' but if we aren't selling in the short term - who cares???
