I think WES should have a look at it.
Look at what WES has done for COLES since they purchased it.
Coles is now beating WOW.
They could use their supermarket outlets to sign up more energy retail customers.
Sign up with ORIGIN gas/electricity and get discounts on your groceries or Bunnings purchases.
(similiar to cheap petrol for Coles shoppers)
WES are always looking at acquisitions both in Australia and overseas.
This is their chance to get into Australian energy retail market, plus they would suddenly have huge exposure to the Australian LNG export industry.
Plus, being such a big company with so many diversified income streams, earnings downgrades from APLNG wont negatively impact the SP the same way ORG are suffering at the moment.
I think WES should have a look at it. Look at what WES has done...
