watso briefly noticed the news item, but watso got the idea that it had nothing to do with introducing religion into the classroom - eg, where the local imman comes into the classroom, and gives religious instruction.
hopefully, we are a secular country, but religion plays an important part in the lives of many people - and maybe it is a good idea, for people to understand the religious beliefs of other people - which can only strengthen the secular state.. so long as no religion gets the upper hand.
