kieranmcs, it's not much good checking the pre-open.It's often a staged event to either exuberate or panic.Personally it's about 10:30am on that is when I try to take a Depth Reading.
Despite the Down of DOW last night,Australian Market reacted to this Lehmann news etc Yesterday so One should wait and watch for whether the Drop last night has already been anticipated in the Oz market yesterday.
It is not right or perhaps possible for News to be held back if it's generally known within the company.Even if such news has to be released on a not "ideal" day.If it could be held back the Disclosure Law/Rules would be a Joke.
