I have been reading many posts about the short supply of buying physical gold from different mints around the world.
I thought I would test the theory in Australia and purchased physical gold from three different bullion shops in Australia over the last week. Not one had a problem supplying me even up to one hundred ounces if I wanted. The only issue I have is the 4-6 week delay with the Perth Mint but they told me that is due to the packing up of the backlog of orders.
Although when I did purchase coins off the Perth Mint before Christmas they arrived in three days.
Has anybody had any problems in Australia purchasing physical Gold?
