Appears that a state election may prove to be the political cure for COVID-19 in Qld. or is it just coincidence ?
There is no formal border closure between NSW and the ACT and only self assessment required if you have travelled from Canberra into NSW and back again before flying to QLD.
The Qld. border restrictions with the ACT will be lifted from 1am next Friday if you fly in from Canberra and not drive thus allowing federal political heavy weights to weigh into the Qld. election campaign just in time.
I do also recall that several months ago there was an election in some electorates when gatherings of people in Qld. was prohibited . We were however advised at the time that it would be OK for everyone to go and vote .
With the Qld. state election only weeks away now , politics related events appear to be totally immune to the virus.
Truly a miracle (or an amazing coincidence ) ?
