    Hmmm perhaps this depends on the industry. I work in manufacturing and I doubt public employment wages have any bearing on what I'm paid. I know my employer doesn't try to keep up with public wage increases.

    They say the NDIS is creating a lot of government funded jobs, particularly for women.

    Underemployment is a huge issue imo. There certainly is a lot of slack in the labour market. Take it from someone who's employed but looking.
