I understand your reasoning but what i dont understand is how you can compare the economics of a house with true value to a spec stock with perceived value (prr's current "true" value is around 0.06c) They are two different things entirely.

Granted your house wont be worth as much as your portfolio if your expected returns come, but i can most certainly guarantee you that if a market crash occurs, GFC 2.0, PRR wont be trading at her True value at 0.06 and the house you speak of will still retain most of it value! Just my opinion!
